While I don't currently live in Cork, I have spent quite a bit of time there and the beauty about this place is that it never really changes. Ok they've rejuvenated the main street, a few new shops have appeared on the scene and a pub or two might have changed hands but other than that, Cork city and all that it encompasses remain pretty much the same. And that's a good thing by the way.

I lived in Dublin for a combined seven months – five of those months I lived in a hostel. In addition to knowing how to get by in Dublin on the cheap (it's not an inexpensive town!) I also have a BA in history, of which Irish history was my specialty. I am now in the process of applying to Trinity College Dublin for a MA in Modern Irish history. I've traveled all over the country as well.
