A: The number one attraction in Aberdeen is the fine granite buildings and the good humour of the locals. You'll be hard pushed to find a friendlier city if you stick to the right areas!

A: There is the Maritine Museum, Tollbooth Museum and the Art Gallery - all are free entry!

A: There are plenty of cheap hang outs to get a bite to eat in Aberdeen – Archibald Simpsons and The Justice Mill are very cheap where you can get two meals for around £6 - £7!

A: Anything on Union Street is pretty good. It’s the centre of Aberdeen and has a growing number of ethnic and local restaurants.

A: If you go out during the week it’s cheap!! Some places where you can get a vodka and Red Bull for a pound include Triple Kirks and Archibald Simpsons.

A: My favourite pub would be the Basement and Moshulu for clubbing. Both are good for rock and alternative music.
