I have lived in Fremantle from my early teenage years until now (24). I work, live and party in Fremantle and I love it at any time of year. I know all the best places in the centre as well as around town. There are loads of places that they won't tell you about at the tourist information centre, simply because there are loads of them.

You'll find a cross-section of society that I haven't seen anywhere else in Australia...wealthy middle class people, travellers and artistic hippies all call Freo home.
