Q: In your opinion, what is Las Vegas’s number one attraction?
Submitted By: Hostelworld Moderator on the 28th February 2006
A: The Strip, casinos (pretty obviously). But there is so much more.

Q: What else shouldn’t be missed?

A: Red Rock State Park, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Boulder City, Valley of Fire State Park.

Q: Is it expensive to eat out in Las Vegas?
Submitted By: Hostelworld Moderator on the 28th February 2006
A: Not necessarily. The days of the 99 cent buffet are gone but you can feed your face cheaply on any kind of cuisine all over town. Then, of course, there are some of the best -- and most expensive -- restaurants in the world.

A: Pick a casino. Pick a buffet.

Q: Is it expensive to go out at night in Las Vegas?
Submitted By: Hostelworld Moderator on the 28th February 2006
A: It can be. But people -watching in the casinos with the occasional fling of a nickel into a one-armed bandit costs very little. And you could make your fortune, after all. But you probably won't. These huge hotels didn't get built by giving people money.

Q: What is your favourite bar/club in Las Vegas?
Submitted By: Hostelworld Moderator on the 28th February 2006
A: Personally don't have one. But I can point the way to a few.
