Q: Is it easy to get around Canberra ?
Submitted By: Hostelworld Moderator on the 16th May 2006
A: Yeah – we don’t have trains around the city, and taxis can be expensive, so buses are your best bet. They’re cheap and run almost everywhere. Canberra is not a city that you can wander around on foot – it's very spread out. If you really want to get out in the fresh air, hire a bike.

Q: What is your ‘insider tip’ for Canberra ?
Submitted By: Hostelworld Moderator on the 16th May 2006
A: Visit! Our little city is often overlooked by travellers, and dismissed by fellow Australians as a place for public servants. The ‘Bush Capital’, is, however a friendly place with great spirit and culture.
