I have lived here all my life, apart from a year out and 3 years at Uni, and can say I know every bar, club and pub in the city. I have been going out and about in the city for 10 years or so, and have seen many changes. The city still makes me proud to be from it, and I love showing tourists the best places to go.

Q: What is your favourite bar/club in Liverpool? Submitted By: Hostelworld Moderator on the 15th March 2006 A: Club - Has to be Chibuku! Anything goes music policy, and always have big names on, at least every month, usually more. Breaks, beats, drums, bass, house, techno, friendliest crowd in the city! Bar - It changes. At the moment its a choice between The Ship and Mitre, for authentic beers from around the world, and Newz bar.

Q: Is it easy to get around Liverpool? Submitted By: Hostelworld Moderator on the 15th March 2006 A: So-so. Buses will take you to most places, but you won't really leave the city centre, unless you go to Sefton Park. And you can walk from one side of town to the other in 30 mins.

Q: What is your ‘insider tip’ for Liverpool? Submitted By: Hostelworld Moderator on the 15th March 2006 A: Leave the tourist trail and just wander through town. Look at the buildings and listen to the people talk.
