Ilan is a county in Northeastern Taiwan and only a 40-minute drive from Taipei through the world’s fifth longest road tunnel- the Hsuehshan Tunnel. Ilan is filled with fascinating tourist attractions. The National Centre for Traditional Arts is dedicated to preserve folk arts, and it includes Exhibition Center, historic Halls, the Traditional Toy Centre, the Traditional Theatre, and etc. Suao cold spring, Jiaosi hot Spring, Lanyang Museum and Lotung night market are also highly recommended tourist places.
