About Copenhagen

Copenhagen, the largest city and capital of Denmark, is hugely popular with visitors thanks to a mix of modern attractions and old school charm. From the Little Mermaid to the free-town of Christiania, this city has its own unique character, where historical buildings rub shoulders with slick shopping streets, all brought together by its network of canals. view more»

Copenhagen City Reviews

It's location actually is good, but difficult to find as it it seems that is unfinished, there is just an A4 paper showing the hostel name at the entrance, and when I asked for the kitchen, they just direct to an micro-wave oven......One of the toilet also under construction....However, I think It will be good when it is finished. Location is excellent, just 15 minutes walk to Nyhavn.

We booked a 6bed private/ensuite room and it was HUGE :-) and everyone got their own keycard.

Expensive

A very expensive city, with drinks going at around £5 a pint. The sights aren't amazing, possibly even disappointing. The metro service doesn't have as frequent stops as most other cities, meaning there is more walking to be done. The nightlife is very fun, full of Irisih Pubs with lots of character and interesting people. Not the cleanest of cities...

  • Insider tip:Drinks for 10Kr (£1) at The Rock nightclub during happy hour (1am-2am I think it was) - great if you're a fan of rock/metal music.

Copenhagen Is Excellent!

This hostel doesn't look much from the outside but this hostel is great! You share rooms but meet so many people it is the best place to stay in copenhagen only a short walk from town & has bus routes close to the hostel.
