About Florence

Surrounded by the Tuscan Apennines and located on the River Arno, Florence is a classic Italian city. Thanks to an abundance of bustling squares, it is arguably the best of all Italian cities to people watch. It is also home to the most important collection of Italian and Renaissance art in the world, largely thanks to the world-famous Uffizi Gallery. But as the Tuscan capital attracts over 20,000 overseas students who study there each year, it is also surprisingly lively after dark and is laced with bars and nightclubs. view more»

Florence was nice, it rained while we were there but we still saw the sights!! Make sure to get up early so that you can stand in line to see David, after that make sure to climb the Dome! The view was amazing, it's worth the climb!

Florence. Worth the hassle.

It's small and cramped with tourists. The first half hour was very frustrating and I wished I'd never gone there. The view from the top of the Duomo, though, was spectacular and worth all manner of hassle. Gorgeous city when viewed from there or Piazza Michelangelo.

  • Insider tip:Duomo dome. Go.

I had a great time here. The staff is really nice. They made us dinner one night and Tommy took us out partying every night. I would definitely stay here again...Ciao Franco!

Although the location is not at that good, but it's fine, Just only 10-20 minutes to walk into the town. But, the hostel was so great, esp. staffs are so nice.
