In Love with Liverpool

European Capital of Culture for 2008! Liverpool was amazing and the people are so nice and welcoming. The city has so much going on and there is so much to see.

Cheesey Beatles but Great Bricks

City centre seemed a bit "cheesey beatles" to me. Friendly people (in general). Great architecture.

GREAT shopping city,and also a MUST GO for every Beatles & Liverpool FC fan.Wonderful for art lovers too.I absolutely love the way St. George's Hall sticks out in front of you with all its grandeur as soon as you exit Lime St. Stn.The city is more on the expensive side and could do some brushing up on its cleaniness though,and there should be more detailed maps and street signs too.

  • Insider tip:Book early for the LFC stadium tour, and if you do buy the 3 day 3 night ticket plan well as it\'s only worth it if you manage to use it on more than 4 occasions.
