Sorrento was lovely althought on o capri island the shopping and refreshments very expensive. blue grotto boat trip did not like being ripped off for trip into grotto (chargs extra 9euros each on top of boat trip which as 10 euros each)

Lots of tourists so if you arent into that kind of thing go elsewhere. It is a beautiful spot and there are lots of smaller towns around that you can go to and still enjoy the attractions.

A great place to use as a base for the Amalfi coast and Capri; even better to come back to vehicle free streets, shops open until 10pm, choice of eating places and almost every other shop seems to sell Limonicella!

Great place to base yourself for trips to places like the Amlafi Coast, Capri, Pompeii. Nice small town Sorrento is. Nice to wander the streets by day, then chill at night.
