Kool place

Very good destination for a weekend trip. You can walk around by foot and see the major attractions.

Really nice city

We were in Vilnius only for a couple of days but really enjoyed it! Beautiful city with lots of churches to see, a cathedral and a castle. Many restaurants serving lithuanian traditional food for good price. Museum of Genocide Victims is also worth seeing! The city centre isn't big, walkable distance everywhere, nice narrow medieval streets, and...Lots and lots of cafes!

  • Insider tip:Most sightseeing places are shut on Mondays. I could imagine it would also be nicer in summer rather than winter.

expect loggias, wide squares, and baroque churches to make you feel you're down south rather than up north! ;o)
