Warsaw - the perfect city
Warsaw is a great city and Oki Doki makes a great base for a trip. The main city centre can be walked easily on foot and transport further afield is cheap and easy. There is plenty to do here from brilliant museums, such as the nation museum and the uprising museum, to great art galleries such as Zacheta. Eating out can be a fun and not very expensive experience. Pirogi is a must but I would advise to be adventurous, Polish cuisine is delicious. In Warsaw I made lots of friends I am sure to keep in contact with, from travelers to locals. The locals are very welcoming and helpful, even the older people who can't understand English. Shopping in Warsaw is great, whether you want designer clothes or knick-knacks to bring back home. All in all Warsaw is a great city, a real contrast of new and old.It is a bustling place of culture and life and definitely one of my favorite places. I am sure to come back here and I would advise it to any traveler.
- Insider tip:Eating out avoid the old town, it is expensive and the food is not as good. Try Zgoda st. just 10 mins from Oki Doki.
