Two great places to try if you find yourself in Bath on a sunny day are The Bell and Adventure Café. At Adventure Café you can sit out in the beautiful garden area and relax with some wine, have a beer or just soak up the atmosphere why enjoying a coffee. The Bell, which boasts a wide variety of real ales, also has a popular outdoor seating area in its courtyard. Stick around and you might hear some live music as bands regularly appear here.
For drinking and dancing, make sure to check out The Common Room. A favourite with locals, it’s spread out over two levels with a dance floor downstairs and comfy couches and cool window seats upstairs, plus lots more.
Komedia is one of the top venues in town for live entertainment. Housed inside the renovated Beau Nash Picture House, it hosts everything from stand up comedy to cabaret acts to live music.

Boasting a beautiful outdoor garden seating area, the Adventure Café is a popular spot with people stopping off for a relaxed drink during the day. Things get a bit livelier in the evenings, with plenty of punters coming in to enjoy the wines, beers, cocktails and funky music mix.

This cosy bar and club is popular with locals who come to drink and dance in the boho chic atmosphere. Spread out over two levels, The Common Room features window seats and comfy couches in the upstairs level and a dancefloor off the main bar area downstairs. There’s a pool table too so if you don’t fancy shaking a leg you can always practice your skills with a cue.
