Eating Out in Belfast, Northern Ireland

Belfast, and Ireland as a country, hasn’t the most varied cuisine in the world, but this doesn’t mean you won’t find good food in Belfast. Excellent Thai, Indian and other international cuisine is served in very high standard restaurants.

The best area to dine out in is in an area known as the ‘Golden Mile’. This area begins at Howard Street and runs, down Great Victoria Street and also down Bedford Road/Dublin Road. Further south you get to the university area which is full of good eateries.

Like many places around the United Kingdom, pubs are always a great place to eat and ‘pub grub’ is always good value for money.
