Things To See in Belfast, Northern Ireland

Apart from London, nearly every city in the UK and Ireland can be explored on foot in one day. While you may actually get to visit all the main attractions, you will certainly see everything, in particular the architecture. Belfast is no different.

The best place to use for a day’s sightseeing is City Hall at Donegal Square. Also around the square are the Scottish Provident Building and the Robinson and Cleaver Building, an old department store.

South of the city centre Belfast gets prettier by every hundred yards. It gets less congested and you finally reach Queens University and eventually the Botanic Gardens – two highlights of the city which shouldn’t be missed.
