Bled City Reviews

    Bled-Hidden Gem

Bled really exceeded our expectations-we expected it to be beautiful but we were blown away! The lake has gorgeous scenery, and is really nice to swim in. You can also get boats, paddleboard, row etc. There's lots more beside just the lake-Vintgar gorge, the castle, tobogganing to mention but a few! There's also a fairly decent nightlife and plenty of places to eat. It's the perfect place to spend a few days recharging your batteries!

Insider Tip:Head up to Vintgar Gorge for stunning views, and make sure to take a dip in the lake!

Excellent place to relax or have an adventure!

It's a picturesque town with an amazing lake. Life here is incredibly relaxed, there's no rush to do anything but loads to do. If you want to relax you can sun bathe and swim by the lake. You can do this anywhere you want. The scenery is beautiful. it's just an amazing place to go.

Insider Tip:Take a kayak around the lake it's €7 an hour and you can really explore the lake, dock at the island and generally just explore around.

    Lake Bled, Slovenia

Lovely picturesque lake with plenty of places to eat and drink in the surrounding area. The water is warm enough to swim in on a hot summers day and hiring a row boat to the island is worth doing!

Insider Tip:Rent a bike for a day to travel around the lake and also to bike to nearby Vintgar Gorge which is also well worth a visit!

    Heaven in Slovenia

Most beautiful place I've been too, loved the lake, the viewpoint is amazing and paddle boarding on the lake is highly recommended.
