Dresden is home to a wonderful mixture of entertainment establishments including theatres, cinemas, pubs, clubs, discos and live music venues so you certainly won’t be short on places to go in the evening.
Wander around the Neustadt and you’re sure to come across something to suit your tastes and budget, as this area is filled with bars and clubs and is especially popular with a younger crowd. Altstadt has its own share of pubs too, so wherever you are in the city you’re never far from the nearest nightspot.
Culturally, Dresden has a lot to offer visitors too. For example you could visit the Semperoper, the Dresden Philharmonic, the Staats Operette or the Schauspielhaus. Opera, ballet and theatrical performances are all well-represented here, and you’ll also find various theatres, along with a number of choirs and cabaret acts.
