Transport in Dubrovnik, Croatia

Getting there:

By air: Dubrovnik’s Cilipi International Airport is 24km outside of the city centre. All flights, both domestic and international, arrive here.

There are regular bus services both to and from the city centre and the airport. A one-way journey costs approximately 25KN and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Taxis take approximately 25 minutes and the journey will cost you about 200KN.

By bus: Buses arrive in Dubrovnik daily from most neighbouring countries, as well as Split, the next Croatian city travelling north. The bus station is about 15 minutes walk from the Old Town, and 5 in a taxi.

Getting around:

By bus: The city’s main bus stop is just outside Pile Gate on the west side of the Old Town. Journeys cost 10KN, regardless of how long or short your trip which must be paid in exact change.

By taxi: The city’s main taxi rank is also just outside Pile Gate. An average journey to the surrounding suburbs will set you back between 30KN and 40KN.
