Jeffrey’s Bay, or J-bay as it’s known by the locals, is a surfer’s paradise in South Africa’s Eastern Cape. This seaside town is about an hour’s drive from Port Elizabeth and is home to a population of around 25,000 people.

Maybe I went there on the "wrong season" - waves are better on winter - but still it is a great place to be with loads of activities to do - The Addo Elephant Park is close, you can take surf lessons, do sandboarding.. Really nice city to chill and stay cool :)

Surfer or not this place rocks; great discount surf brand shopping, great waves (better april to july); great place for chilling out .. not too over developed yet.
