At night, Mossel Bay offers up a number of lively bars for you to check out. Many of these can be found along the town’s main thoroughfare, Marsh Street.
Trawlers and Patricks, two bars quite close to each other on opposite sides of Marsh Street, are really popular with locals. Both have outdoor seating areas where you can cool off during the day with a cool beer. For something a bit different check out Café Havana, a Cuban-themed bar also on Marsh Street.
Cocktail lovers will want to check out Pirates Cocktail Bar out by Dias Beach, which is a short drive from the town centre. To enjoy a host of colourful concoctions in a setting a little closer to the centre of things head down to the Point where you’ll find Big Blue (pictured here), another popular nightspot.
If you fancy a flutter, hop in a cab for the 10-minute trip out of town to the Garden Route Casino. Home to some 400+ slot machines plus blackjack, roulette and poker tables, this casino has something for everyone from the cautious beginner to the experienced gambler.
