Spread out all over town, this cool collection of eateries serves up a wide variety of different types of food. On top of that, plenty of these places do great specials or simply offer very pocket friendly prices.

There are plenty of places in and around the bright lights of Clifton Hill, including the popular Kelsey’s. However, you’ll also find plenty of great spots to grab a bite along Ferry Street and over on Queen Street. No matter what you’re craving, chances are you’ll be able to find something you fancy.

If that isn’t enough, you can always check out the all-you-can-eat buffets at the various casinos around town, including the popular Fallsview Casino on Fallsview Boulevard. Pick the right table at this buffet and you’ll get fantastic views of the nearby Falls.

    Both brew pub and restaurant, Taps is a good spot if you’re looking for good portions of tasty food. Everything from steak to seafood to shepherd’s pie features on the menu and all the dishes are very reasonably priced. So kick back at the bar or grab one of the many tables and once you’ve had your meal, you can try some of their home-brewed beers.

  • Bravo

    One of the funkiest places to eat in town, Bravo serves up Italian cuisine in a chic interior which boasts numerous booths along with lots of bar seating. Prices are affordable and the atmosphere is very welcoming, ensuring that you’ll linger over your pizza or pasta dish. Sandwiches and salads also appear on the menu, and if you’re not fond of any of the numerous pizzas or pastas, there’s the option to create your own dish.

  • Kelsey’s

    Part of a popular chain of Canadian restaurants, Kelsey’s is a good choice if you’re looking for a reasonably priced meal after wandering around Clifton Hill. Both bar and restaurant, there’s a wide selection available on the menu including burgers, sandwiches and soups. They do great value specials on wings along with some other meal deals that’ll help you save a dollar or two. On a nice day, try and grab one of the tables out on the large patio for excellent people-watching opportunities.

    A pretty old-school diner, Basell’s tempts you with food as soon as you walk in the door, with mouth-watering pies sitting in a glass case on the counter. Before you even start on dessert, there’s plenty to choose from on the menu including all-day breakfasts, grilled cheese sandwiches, steak and more. Two specials are offered every day and are really great value.

    Without a doubt, this long-running bakery is one of the most affordable places to pick up something delicious and filling to eat as you stroll around town. At the hot counter, you’ll be able choose from a wide variety of pasties and savoury pies, while a great selection of cakes and cookies are also available along with lots of other sweet treats.
