    Noosa

Noosa was probably my favourite place that I visited on my Australia East Coast trip! I did a 3 day canoeing trip which was brillant and something I had never done before. I also visited Australia Zoo from Noosa and had a fantastic day there. I watched the sunrise from Noosa National Park which was spectactular and made even better when we saw a pod of dolphins! The beach is Noosa is lovely. It was never too busy and the waves were perfect for getting beyond the break and bobbing around at the other side

    New and commercial

Noosa is much of a muchness to many other places along the coast. Yes the beach is beautiful but so are many others. There really isn't a lot of things to do here expect lounge on the beach. The town seems brand new and is definitely built for the tourists which is good and bad. it has all the basics you require but no character or charm

    Noosa

Noosa was so much more chilled out than I thought it would be. The National Park was fantastic is definitely had the best swimming spots.

Insider Tip:You can travel between Maroochydore, Noosa and the beaches in between for less than $5 all day. These busses also run well into the night. There is also a public bus that runs from Sunshine Coast airport into Maroochydore that connects to the bus to Noosa - much cheaper than the airport shuttles.

Australia: Itinerary

Golden Beaches, dense rainforest and one of the wonders of the world - Queensland is one of Australia's most fascinating states. Beginning in Noosa in Southern Queensland running up to Cairns, this stretch of coastline in Oz is full of travellers.
