From the traditional Maori hangi to the host of bars and clubs in Rotorua, the selection of entertainment is quite surprising when you consider the fact that it really is not a very big town.

In fact traditional entertainment is extremely important in Rotorua and you will find one event or another taking place every night of the week there. Nowhere in New Zealand is this form of nightlife so prevalent so ensure that you check it out at least once.

It is also a really good way to decide what you want to do next as travellers are usually only too willing to recommend where you should see and where you should avoid.
