City Guide San Diego, USA

Visiting San Diego

Just north of the Mexican border, San Diego is the most laid back of California’s big cities and a great place to simply chill out. Situated on a bay, there are many places to laze about in during the day. It is also a compact grid meaning getting around is easy as pie.

    America's Finest City

Really nice and fun city. It has a nice beach, shopping and a good size CBD. The ppl know how to party and the clubs are up there with Vegas. Tram system is awesome.

Insider Tip:Get the Tram to go see the US Pacific Fleet, its a sight to behold. Why not go all the way and walk across the border and check out Tijuana.

Its a really beautiful city with gorgeous weather. They have Seaworld, Legoland, great beaches, LaJolla is gorgeous, a must-see. The San Diego Zoo is by far the best Zoo in the Country.

    San Diego, OB

Never went into San Diego, got stuck at Ocean beach which is an awesome place. Would probably need at least 1 week in San Diego to see everything that is going on.

Insider Tip:Cheap outlet Las Americas on the border to mexico (last exit in USA).

    SAN DIEGO - MY VERDICT

My view on San Diego is that its a bit rough and ready, smells of weed, hippies and hot surfers everywhere. Nice weather, lots of sun, sea, sand and surf. Not in my top 10 cities, probably not in my top 20 actually.

Insider Tip:If you want a bit more classy, go to OC or LA.
