There are plenty of good bars and nightlcubs in Tel Aviv. The best area for bars is around Ben Yehuda, Dizengoff and Allenby. All bars stay open late and most of the Backpacker bars beside the hostels have happy hours in the early evening. Many of the nightclubs play dance and techno music and stay open until 5.00 or 6.00 a.m. Live Rock or Jazz music can also be found in a number of venues and in the summer time there are outdoor concerts in HaYarkon Park.
