    Cool city

Great nightlife in Vancouver and nearby islands and canyons to day trip to. Definitely check out Lynn's Canyon (I think?) if you have time and Stanley Park, with its beaches and greenery, is a great way to pass a chilled out afternoon.

Insider Tip:Give Granville Island a miss unless you're dead set on it. Stay at Samesun Backpackers and they'll offer a bunch of daily activities (some free) which are a great way to get to know the city and to meet other travellers.

Nice city but not without a car

I liked Stanley Park and the "old town", but apart from that, Vancouver doesn't have a lot to offer unless you have a car. The shopping mile Robson Street was very disappointing in my opinion. Just like the rest of the inner city centre - it's okay, definitely not ugly, but not worth it taking a trip there if you are dependent on public transport.

Probably the best city in Canada

Vancouver is a pretty lively place and gives you easy access to a lot of really locations such as vancouver island, gulf islands, grouse mountain and capilano bridge, lynn canyon park or even Whistler. Overall i would recommend anyone visiting Canada to go there !

    Great place to stay

Safe neighbor, clean bathroom, nice breakfast, great location and friendly atmosphere. It is a short walk to the downtown Vancouver shopping area and so probably 15 min walk to Stanley Park. Easy access to restaurants and bars and though the rooms are tiny, bathrooms are clean and nice, get cleaned everyday.

Canada: Itinerary

Located in the province of British Columbia, Canada’s third largest city is a traveller’s dream come true complete with a buzzing city centre and a host beaches, bays and lagoons. Add to this some great places to go shopping and a vibrant nightlife and it isn’t difficult to see why it is one of Canada’s most popular destinations.
