    Awesome city

I'm in love with Vancouver. There're so many things you can do and experience. The city itself is very nice and clean and the restaurants are super. If you want to go out there're a lot if different clubs, bars and pubs. It takes you only some minutes to go a lil bit away from the center and you'll already be in the beautiful nature. Furthermore there a various beaches for example in the Stanley Park, where you can enjoy the weather.

Insider Tip:Gastown for eating, Tuesdays Club Celebrities, shopping Pacific Center / Metrotown, Aquarium in Stanley Park, Whistler

Stanley Park and Granville Island are amazing. The food options in Vancouver are diverse and delicious. I love the Canadian art displayed at the museum, especially relating to the influences from elsewhere.

Insider Tip:Go see a hockey game.

    Cool city

Great nightlife in Vancouver and nearby islands and canyons to day trip to. Definitely check out Lynn's Canyon (I think?) if you have time and Stanley Park, with its beaches and greenery, is a great way to pass a chilled out afternoon.

Insider Tip:Give Granville Island a miss unless you're dead set on it. Stay at Samesun Backpackers and they'll offer a bunch of daily activities (some free) which are a great way to get to know the city and to meet other travellers.

Nice city but not without a car

I liked Stanley Park and the "old town", but apart from that, Vancouver doesn't have a lot to offer unless you have a car. The shopping mile Robson Street was very disappointing in my opinion. Just like the rest of the inner city centre - it's okay, definitely not ugly, but not worth it taking a trip there if you are dependent on public transport.

    Insider Tip:Stanley Park

Canada: Itinerary

Located in the province of British Columbia, Canada’s third largest city is a traveller’s dream come true complete with a buzzing city centre and a host beaches, bays and lagoons. Add to this some great places to go shopping and a vibrant nightlife and it isn’t difficult to see why it is one of Canada’s most popular destinations.
