Spend only one day in Wellington and that was enough. Not much to do there. It's really just a business district.

    Lots to see and do

Check out Lonely Planet and your accommodation reception to get an idea of the multitude of things that can be done. Only downside is that Wellington is on the tectonic plates so regular occurrence of earthquakes. Te Papa museum was amazing - set aside a full day for this. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

    Eclectic and Fun

One of my favorite cities in New Zealand, very fun, well planned, and chill. Easy to walk around. The Te Papa was amazing- definitely plan for 2 days if you really want to see the whole thing. The harbour in the morning was very nice and we saw a fur seal! Cuba street is definitely worth taking a stroll down.

Insider Tip:Love Honey on Cuba Street! The Zealandia Night Tour is a bit pricey but worth every penny. We saw multiple tuatara, eels, a kiwi, many birds, weta, and glow worms.
