Insider Tip:Staying in Lucerne might be a good option, it's a bit cheaper and only 50 min by train from Zurich
If you ever thought of going to Zurich...just don't. It's maybe worth a day trip but there really isn't much to see and it's insanely expensive even by swiss standards.
Insider Tip:go to Basel, or Vals
I loved Zurich - I went in summer and loved swimming in the lake and sunbathing beside it, and it's a very pretty town in general. Harsh on the wallet but worth it.
Insider Tip:Buy a water bottle and fill it up from the many clean water fountains around the city. Buying fresh ones all the time will cost you a fortune!
Zurich is a city where everybody is beautiful, has shitloads of money and owns a convertible car. What's not to like?
Insider Tip:In your next reincarnation, try to be born there.
Kind of a boring place in Switzerland in comparison to the other beautiful places there. Plenty of shopping though but not much else really. Business hub of Switzerland. Weather wasnt good so didnt enjoy it as much
Insider Tip:Dont stay at the HI hostel. So far out of the main town and fairly expensive. Not very sociable either. Go up to the top of Zurich. Either get the cable car up there or hike. Good views of city.
