Getting there
By air: Cambodia has one international airport in the capital, Phnom Penh. Direct flights go there from Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and most other Asian cities.
By land: Travelling to Cambodia can be done overland through two of it’s three neighbours – Vietnam and Thailand. The border at Laos is still not open to Westerners.
Getting around
Domestic flights between Phnom Penh, Angkor, Ratanakiri and Battambang fly very regularly and are easy enough to obtain (once you have the money, of course). Travelling by bus is done through three bus companies in operation. Trains, on the other hand, are cheap but unreliable and can get overcrowded.
