Getting there

By air: International airports in Vilnius and Kaunas join Lithuania with the rest of Europe and direct flights go to either airport from most European cities.`

By land: Buses connect Vilnius with a lot of other European countries such as Poland, Russia and Belarus. They are also the cheapest way to get there. A train which runs directly between Berlin and St Petersburg runs through Vilnius. A train between Warsaw in Poland


Getting around

Trains and buses network the country and are cheap and generally reliable.
