Things To See in Slovakia

The High Tatras, one of Europe’s most spectacular mountain ranges apart from the Alps, border the north of the country and can’t be missed. Also in the north is Pieniny National Park which runs between Slovakia and Poland.

The capital Bratislava is a popular destination with travellers. Smaller than most capitals, it is easy to explore and has a charming old town complete with an old market, while the Danube flows through it.

If you plan on extending your visit beyond the capital and National Parks, the Saris region in the east is where you will find Presov, a quaint small town, and Rosnava, an old mining town.
