Entertainment in Slovenia

Slovenia enjoys a very lively nightlife and cities such as Ljubljana, Maribor and others are full of many bars and clubs. Even If you find yourself in some of the smaller towns you will have no problem finding somewhere to let your hair down.

If you are looking for more cultural activities all of Slovenia’s major towns and cities have a good selection theatres and operas. While ‘pivnicas’ are places which serve beer, they are a more traditional type of haunt and are worth a visit if you want to see how locals enjoy themselves.

The most eventful month of the year is July when Ljubljana hosts the International Summer Festival. There is another Summer Festival in Primorska, Slovenia’s Western Province.
