By air: Slovenia’s national air carrier is Adria Airways and is Ljubljana’s Brnik Airport is connected directly to most major European cities. Other airports around Slovenia aren’t as well linked.
By train: You can travel to all of the most important destinations in Slovenia via train and there are direct rail links with Italy, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Yugoslavia and Macedonia.
By bus: Travelling to Slovenia is easy and can be cheaper than travelling by bus. Again, Ljubljana is best connected but other cities have links with surrounding countries also.
By train: Train is the most widely used form of transport for long journeys and the national train carrier is Slovenian Railways.
By bus: Bus is the more popular form of transport for shorter journeys and there are regular services between all major towns and cities.
