Awful vibe, really dirty and the bunk beds were so loud and shaky. The guy above me was a restless sleeper and woke up the entire room multiple times because of the shaking bed. It's really far away from everything, only stay here as a last resort. Also I either picked up bedbugs HERE or YHA Bristol in the last few days so watch out!!!

The hostel is well there for student backpackers and the tennants and staff are very helpful and friendly. It's got a rural flair to it's benefit and the location Bedminster is the more relaxed of the central Bristol suburbs.

It was quiet at least? It wasn't great but I don't regret staying there. It provided everything I needed.

The Pods are great, quiet private and comfortable. They were doing some renovations but everything was clean and secure. Free computers was a big bonus. Friendly Staff

the hostel was horrible, the showers were never cleaned nor my bed for 3 days, there was a rotten smell of stagnant water around the hostel especially outside mens and ladys toilets, when i asked for an extra pillow i never recieved one. whole place needs updating and decorating to bring in into the 20 century let alone the 21st

Nothing like the pictures on the website! Bathroom was dirty, showers were broken and looked like you'd get dirtier using then. Curtains hanging off windows. Lockers in room don't lock. Shouldn't be advertised as a travellers hostel as all the people there were living there. Gross and creepy!

Convenient for the airport, with good bus routes, also able to park on free neighbouring roads. Room was cramped and bed worn. Facilities ok, good bathrooms.

I did not feel safe in the hostel. There was an awful smell and the building is in dire need of repair.

Had to wait 15 mins for someone to come to front desk. Wifi very very poor. Commons room way to small. Hand dryers in restrooms didn't work. Lights turned off in shower room while showering. Whole building smelled like pee. On a positive note, the pods were very nice and comfortable. Also location hard to find, small or no signs, phone number did not work when we tried to call for directions. We stayed in 4 other hostels this week, and this one was the worst except for the pods.

We stayed for 1 night&the other reviews were exactly right. The windows were boarded&there were computer made signs. It is quite run down. The staff were really nice but there were no toilets on the top floor. The beds were terrible&squeeked every time we moved. When reading the other reviews I thought there was no way they could be that bad - but they were.Don't count on the train station its not frequent. There is a bus though. There are few pubs but not many places to eat dinner. Good for a night

This was my first hostel experience. First, the hostel was quite far from the center of town. The convenient part of the location was the fact that there was a bus station right down the road where we were able to get a day pass for about 4 pounds. The rooms smelt terrible and the people staying in the 12 mixed bed dorm were less than friendly. The lockers were broken and had no locks, the air felt moist, staff wasn't very helpful, bathrooms for the women were managable. Less money, less quality

The outside looks as though you've been shut down for years. The windows and doors are all boarded up and as my group and I first walked up we thought we had been ripped off. The dishes in the kitchen were mostly dirty and unclean, even in the clean section. The people though were extremely nice for the most part. You get what you pay for when it comes to all other aspects of the hostel. The bathrooms are decent, the people are sorta weird, and the location isn't too far from everything.

It's pretty easy to walk past this place as the signage is very small. The location is good, it's a short bus ride to the city center or you can walk there in about 45mins. The staff are very friendly. They show movies in the common area every night. But, the main dorm is rarely locked. The male showers aren't separated by stalls or curtains and consist of a single button, so you can't control the temperature. You may get what you pay for, but this place stretches that saying to its limit.
