This is a very simple and basic hostel that turns out to be expensive because of its simple quality. There's only one locker in the room, which means if you are not lucky enough, your stuff won't be safe (a code is required to get into the room though). Its location is far from the city centre and its staff, not so helpful (there was a problem in men's shower and they didn't even make an effort to see what it was at the time, as result the problem kept on for a while). There must be better ones.

Below average hostel in below average state, in a misleading location. The hostel is actually in Bedminster a good hour walk away from Bristol. And it appears the pictures they have uploaded are very partial and misleading. Here is a photo I have taken of the hostel: http://imgur.com/bLphlgf This is the absolute opposite of a recommendation, the 007 is by far the worst place I have ever stayed in, I've enjoyed better accommodation in the third world.

I stayed there for one night: the location is good, is on the road to the airport but not too far from the city centre and the staff is ok, even if one time I waited two minutes for anyone at the reception. However I found the place and the linen a bit dirty, and the showers were in common and not separated from each other. Strongly recommended if you need a bed for one night in a place not too far from the airport.

This is a place you go if you really only need to crash for the night, and simply don't care about anything. So if that's what you need, it's perfect!

Lots of long term residents, very poor bathroom facilities. The kitchen is good, but the food storage needs to be cleaned out. Laundry is good. There's room for improvement.

The location for the hostel can not be fixed, but it is not in the best area. Also the building appears to have been quickly converted to a hostel with little signage and the level of facilities. The bathrooms were rather dirty, and bed linens were old, ratty, and seemed unclean. Good wifi was a plus. At the end of the day it's 10 pounds price tag was appropriate.

The staff is friendly and very helpful, the location isn't too bad, and it's a pretty clean place. The showers are a little difficult to use, but if you're only planning on staying a couple of days, that shouldn't keep you away. The living area is always full of people, so it's very easy to be social here.

You should tell us that the bathroom has no separation between showers, I was disappointed when I got there and discovered it.

The hostel was very dirty and the only form of security was the number pad locks to the room. Only one locker was in the room, which was being used, and no luggage storage. The place did not smell good, needs renovation, and was 30 minutes walk from Bristol. The bathroom didn't have lights in the toilet stalls so you couldn't see at night and the showers had no doors or curtains (community style showers). The staff was very friendly and helpful though.

It smelt bad,the clothes took this olour so It was uncomfortable to put on. The beds were uncomfotable, I woke up a few times. It is fine for one night if you don't find any other place.

When finding the hostel, the outside looked a bit sketchy and we worried about how the inside looked. Quite a few things were broken or falling apart (toilet stall, trash bins, door lock, shower, etc.) and I don't think I would have lasted very long in there if we stayed more than 2 nights. With that, I personally loved the "pod-style" beds and the funky colors they were painted. What made me look past everything was the helpful staff and other people staying there. The friendliest and nicest!

parking, easy to find, big kitchen. cool private bed areas with own plug and lights! big communal area. very good value for money. not close to city centre but bus right outside. showers-ok

Only Cheap and essential!

not even half as bad as other reviewers make it out to be. had a really comfortable night's sleep here. pod beds were excellent and the place was clean. can't ask for more given the price

20 minute walk from centre. Rooms had bugs. Women's washroom door did not close. Bunks were literally holes in the walls and the mattresses were springy and uncomfortable. Only one locker in a room of 8 people.

Cheap and good location but toilets are not good. If you are going for a Arsenal game, the best and cheapest hostel you can find and so close to the arena :)

We spent one night in this hostel as we were just passing through. The main entrance didn't feel very secure but there seems to be some one behind the check in desk 24 hours a day. Entrance to rooms are secure. It's clear that there's renovations happening within this hostel and I could hear them working at 8.30am the next morning. We got a decent nights sleep which is all that matters. Thanks.

Good Location, half way from airport and City Centre. Helpful staff. Didn't like the showers as it has no doors. Good kitchen, Supermarket nearby. Easy to reach airport at any time as bus stop is very close from hostel and bus company operate 24 hours.

Not the best location in Bristol, but good for the price. The kitchen was large however people would take over the whole area and it made it hard to use (not hostels fault). The rooms themselves didn't leave much space to leave bags, but the beds were quite good. Gives yourself privacy with plug sockets available for each bed and a light (very useful when travelling). The place just kinda seemed a bit cramped, but in the end, I was only there to explore the town and having somewhere to sleep!

The exterior and extrance of the hostel were very off putting, but the beds were great and very comfortable! One staff member we had was amazing and the other (an older man) was so lifeless and unhelpful. Hopefully you are served by the friendly one! Long walk to the city centre, but on a decent bus route.
