We were upgraded to a better room for free, nice staff and a big clean kitchen. Cheap and comfortable.

Enjoyed the movies, hot showers and free computers. The Pod beds are great - the building doesnt look great on the outside.

Nothing like the pictures on the website! Bathroom was dirty, showers were broken and looked like you'd get dirtier using then. Curtains hanging off windows. Lockers in room don't lock. Shouldn't be advertised as a travellers hostel as all the people there were living there. Gross and creepy!

Convenient for the airport, with good bus routes, also able to park on free neighbouring roads. Room was cramped and bed worn. Facilities ok, good bathrooms.

I did not feel safe in the hostel. There was an awful smell and the building is in dire need of repair.

Had to wait 15 mins for someone to come to front desk. Wifi very very poor. Commons room way to small. Hand dryers in restrooms didn't work. Lights turned off in shower room while showering. Whole building smelled like pee. On a positive note, the pods were very nice and comfortable. Also location hard to find, small or no signs, phone number did not work when we tried to call for directions. We stayed in 4 other hostels this week, and this one was the worst except for the pods.

We stayed for 1 night&the other reviews were exactly right. The windows were boarded&there were computer made signs. It is quite run down. The staff were really nice but there were no toilets on the top floor. The beds were terrible&squeeked every time we moved. When reading the other reviews I thought there was no way they could be that bad - but they were.Don't count on the train station its not frequent. There is a bus though. There are few pubs but not many places to eat dinner. Good for a night

The outside looks as though you've been shut down for years. The windows and doors are all boarded up and as my group and I first walked up we thought we had been ripped off. The dishes in the kitchen were mostly dirty and unclean, even in the clean section. The people though were extremely nice for the most part. You get what you pay for when it comes to all other aspects of the hostel. The bathrooms are decent, the people are sorta weird, and the location isn't too far from everything.

This was my first hostel experience. First, the hostel was quite far from the center of town. The convenient part of the location was the fact that there was a bus station right down the road where we were able to get a day pass for about 4 pounds. The rooms smelt terrible and the people staying in the 12 mixed bed dorm were less than friendly. The lockers were broken and had no locks, the air felt moist, staff wasn't very helpful, bathrooms for the women were managable. Less money, less quality

Once I found this hostel I decided to change my stay in Bristol from three days to two! The rooms were as advertised but dirty with hair all over the floor and dirt. My bed was unmade and had hair on it when I checked in at 9pm! When I asked if I needed to purchase linens and was questioned about it the staff argued with me that they remake the beds everyday. Having to take me with him into the room (as if I was lying) the guy says, "oh, I guess people shouldn't be climbing up on the beds. Gross

Owners, reluctant to invest ££ in the place, Eg: badly organised, underfunded refurbishments, Seem to be ongoing.... Hower, reasonably friendly staff, who do there best to keep it clean& tidy. Cold everywhere ! Especialy the shower area, again Seeming reluctant to spend ££ on raising the hot water temp.

It's pretty easy to walk past this place as the signage is very small. The location is good, it's a short bus ride to the city center or you can walk there in about 45mins. The staff are very friendly. They show movies in the common area every night. But, the main dorm is rarely locked. The male showers aren't separated by stalls or curtains and consist of a single button, so you can't control the temperature. You may get what you pay for, but this place stretches that saying to its limit.

We didn't feel comfortable, because there was no security (the room could be opened easily by everyone and even the front door was never really locked) and it didn't seem very clean. but the staff was nice.
