The main issue we had with this hostel were the other travellers. They never left the place and just slobbed around all day making a mess everywhere! The cleaners had a job on their hands cleaning up after them! The shower was good but was often flooded, breakfast was ok but very high calorie, staff were helpful but had limited english, room was clean, wifi not bad. Football game we went to was great!

Its a really nice hostel with the best staff in the world.....really nice and cool people...! the kitchen is also nice but just have 2 plates that works ..sometimes annoying !! big fridge and everything you need to cook ....! the showers are not that good because they are very old ...but with hot water! the rooms are nice with comfortable bedrooms and tall walls ....all in one the hostel is really nice , near to a big supermarket and lots of nice places for example puerto madero....

GREAT LOCATION! Mostly clean, rooms were good- Even though I thought I had booked one without airconditioning, there was airconditioning. 12-bed room is pretty tight- fine when I was there because there were only ever 4 people in there, but if it were filled to capacity it would be very cramped. Staff were mixed- some very helpful, some patronising and rude. Good basic hostel but nothing special. If you're spending most of your time exploring BA though, it's perfect-location is unrivalled.

The Hostelworld page shows Air Conditioning. They gave us a 2-fan dorm, "the A/C room was booked", but A/C Room 6 was OK 2nd night. Ready to move, they first said "Sorry there was a mix-up, but we could have a 3rd fan" and gave us a voucher for another stay (no value to us). Asking for taxi fare instead, they checked with HostelWorld and would get back. Checking again, they said "Your reservation did not state A/C so you're not entitled to anything. The A/C on your Web Site was meaninigless!

I found the hostel to be perfect for my needs and did book an extra night in the end. It is very low key so if your looking for wild parties I don´t think this is the place for you. Very very good location.

Our stay at 06 Central Hostel was somewhat disappointing as it definitely didn´t look as great as the photos made it out to be - they are blurry for a reason! The hostel was a lot older and dirtier than the photos depict. Breakfast was also not the best and usually there would just be a small serving of sweet bread and tea/coffee. However, location wise it is very centrally located and it is quite easy to catch a public bus directly from the Jorge Newbery Airport to the hostel for 1.25 pesos.
