I have seen many hostels and I have to say: This one is my favorite. I returned many times and it just feels like home. It is a great flat with clean kitchen and bath & cosy common lounge area with free wifi internet, cable tv etc. Even inside the place it\'s very calm and quiet - as soon you step out of the door you are in the middle of the vibrant city (circle tram and the underground nearby). Walking is still my favorit! Last but not least the Aussie host Adrian is very helpful. Thanks for all...More

It was a fine hostel if all you're looking for is a place to crash. The bedroom is too small to offer much more. We were able to wash our clothes there free of charge, however, which was very appreciated and a rare find at a hostel!!

Adrian is very laid back and nice. The place is small and well there is nothing \"central\" in Budapest, so this place is close to a subway station and a main bus line that comes like every 3 minutes. It has a kitchen and the double room is the same price as the dorm, you might want to score that! This is more like an apartment than a hostel, meaning the hostellers are there all the time but the \"administration\" is there for like a couple of hours a day. Also it\'s on the 3rd floor

Thanks Adrian, we had fun in Budapest! The hostel was great, really well located for transport, quiet at night and good facilities. Great value. Guests, just make sure you take note of the address and phone number (I was stupid and forgot to), as there's no sign or reception. There's also smoking allowed in the lounge area and it does get a bit hot at night in summer.

very very nice owner!!! the private room is not perfect but that's fine. I'd totally recommend it. You can wash your clothes, cook, everything's is fine. Good energy in this place.

Private room was more like a cupboard with a matress in it. Staff did not seem to know what was going on.

Owner can give some great tips on where to go and what to see/eat. Very homely atmosphere!

This is truly a lovely informal hostel/ apartment. It feels as if you are staying with a friend (who speaks pefect English) who trusts you with the key and shows you around. You can even pay at the end of your stay. Unfortunately the bed also makes you feel as if you are a welcomed but unexpected frued. The bed springs poak in your bed and the rooms are on a busy street. Conclusion: a lot of atmosphere and not too much comfort. But it remains a great hostel with an excellent price/ quality value
