We were so busy travelling around and coming back late we only saw our bedroom and the bathroom. We liked our first night so much (and found a sneaky parking space round the side) that we cancelled our second hostel and booked two more nights, which the hostel gave us keys up-front for so that we could come back as late as we wanted. Really clean, no hidden costs (unlike our cancelled hostel which would have charged us for blankets!). Central. Fine.

I am glad I stayed here because of the price, but the hostel wasn't the greatest. The water smelled funny, the reception desk was rarely open, and the rooms had little to no ventilation (we had to leave the windows open to make sure our room didn't smell when we returned from our day trips). Almost anyone could walk into the hostel which was strange. I wouldn't stay here again but for the price it was hard to pass up on a student's budget.

I had a wonderful time. The staff were not only welcoming, but inviting! :-) Whenever I would bump into a staff member, they would always say hello which is very pleasant

I really enjoyed my stay at the guesthouse as the staff were really pleasant and helpful. It was also located centrally which definitely helped in terms of being able to see the city and not worry about transport back to the guesthouse. More importantly for me, the guesthouse was very clean and quiet which in my opinion made my stay in Reykjavik perfect.
