I'm told that by Perth standards this is a pretty good hostel, but having stayed in many hostels across the world this is very poor. Staff were nice but the place is dank, dirty, depressing, and full of itinerant labourers. No travellers here - but I suspect that could be the case elsewhere in Perth. At $65/night for a single I could have hoped for a clean floor and some ventilation (there was no window). Internet access costs extra.

Good location and facilities, clean rooms and nice staff. Mostly long stay ppl so not great for meeting ppl

This was a good hostel and the staff were especially friendly and helpful. The facilities are great and the place was kept clean. I would go back

we use around 3 hrs to get to the place.. really hard to find. and there are no door for each of the bathroom.. also the hanger to hang our towel or shirt. others should be ok.

Great starter hostel for my aussie adventure. Staff = amazing. Really helpful. Its on hay street so main street into the city really easy to get around right near a 24hr supermarket and next door to a cute little cafe. I would recommend people to stay here, the showers were pretty lame the rooms were good though.
