This is one of the nicest hostels I ever been too. Although it is next to the busstation it is quite and you can reach everything easily. All seems like new and was clean and comfortable that we felt almost like on a luxury-trip. The only minus could be that the breakfast-room is a little cold in winter time (what's normal, kitchen and dorm were warm enough) and that it can get noisy with more people. Kitchen is perfect to cook! Beds are big and comfortable! Although expensive, totally worth it!

Really great hostel with fantastic facilities. Spacious and comfortable common areas, very well-equipped kitchen. Close to the centre, great place to relax or explore Chiloe.

We've been traveling all the way down from Quito, Ecuador, through Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Chile and this is, hands down, the best hostel we have stayed at. The facilities are all modern, but the house is a beautiful old colonial mansion. The kitchen is huge, the showers are awesome, the net is fast, beds are extremely comfy. What more can I say?!

A lovely hostel with excellent rooms and showers and breakfast. The staff were pleasant and we took the tour of the penguin island and Pancho our guide was very informative. A good place to stop in Ancud and it was located right opposite the Cruz del Sur bus station (although buses did stop at the main terminal first, which is 20mins walk away, wait till you get to the Cruz del Sur!)

This was the best hostel I've ever been to. Beautiful old house converted into a modern hostel with huge beds, quality finishes, great breakfast and super friendly staff. I really can't recommend this place enough. There weren't many people staying there when I was there, and instead of putting us all in one room they let me have my own 4-bed (HUGE) dorm to myself. They organised tours for us, recommended restaurants and made all of us solo travellers feel totally welcome and at home.

Really fantastic hostel. The beds were so comfortable that looked forward to foing to bed everynif and it was hard to get up the next morning. Had a great friendly atmosphere, good large spaces including a large and well equiped kitchen and right by the bus station. The only downside I can think off is being next to the bus station could be a bit noisy if your a light sleeper - maybe

Really lovely hostel. Opposite the Cruz del Sur bus terminal, which is ideal. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. The beds were VERY comfortable and big! Great bathrooms, very clean. Beautiful view out to sea. Nice breakfast ;) All in all a great atmosphere, I wish I had stayed for longer.

Fabulous hostel! Loved every part of our stay and didn't want to leave. We slept incredibly well in the king twin beds, big lockers in the rooms for our luggage, great hot showers, gorgeous deck and outside space. The kitchen is beautiful and fully stocked, breakfast is awesome with eggs and delicious jam, and the staff was overwhelmingly nice and helpful! Outside BBQ that we used with other guests one night. We recommend this hostel to anyone and everyone staying in Ancud! Thank you 13 Lunas!!

Very nice hostel, though keep in mind that the guys running this hostel are young and like parting. Even though the hostel looks much more like a guesthouse there are parties going on till after midnight - heard in all rooms.

13 Lunas is a great hostel, the staff and owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and they make a nice asado! The BBQ is out of this world, you definately should cook a meal on it! The hostel is very clean, has hot showers, plenty of plug sockets a good breakfast and better beds than my one back home! They also have a PC with Skype and a webcam, with a good enough internet connection to have a smooth video call. There's also good wifi signal throughout, especially in the common areas

Without a doubt one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Right across the street from the bus station, Ancud is a great place to stay if you want to know Chiloé, and the hostel is only a few blocks from the center of the city. The owners are super nice and they have a fantastic (included) breakfast. The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and have great showers. Also, their terrace is amazing. The place really feels like home.
