Nice hostel with great outdoor area and open lounge. Quite hot though at night in the big dorm rooms with only the ceiling fan to keep the place cool. Kitchen is only open between 8am and 8pm though, a bit of a nuisance if you have to get up early or like to drink cold beer after 8pm! Really nice place, chilled out there for a few days (must do scooteroo if there!) , only downside no locks on doors! Staff that we met were lovely, really helpful. I had a great stay here but the only issue was security in that there are no locks on the doors. All it takes is one evil mind and a lot of stuff could dissapear and sadly even selfishly mean people go backpacking.I had a great stay here but the only issue was security in that there are no locks on the doors. Nice hostel, great staff, very friendly and best location out of all the hostels in agnes water central for everything. $17 surf lessons for 3hr. Owner had a funny attitude tho, very opinionated and self-important, but he\'s not around that much. As said in previous reviews no locks on any of the doors! Kitchen closed at 8 at night so did most of the food places in the area. No plug sockets in the twin mixed dorm room we were staying. The wall separating the twin mixed dorms were plaster board and did not go to the ceiling so no real privicy. As said in previous reviews no locks on any of the doors!
