Unbelievable ! I made a reservation for this hostel and consequently paid a security deposit and this hostel was... CLOSED ! How can it still be in your list ?

Very very bad service, horrible staff, made us feel very unconfortable. Definantely, the worst hostel I've ever been. Do not reccomend to anyone. Professionalism zero.

Not a very friendly reception upon arrival! I think she wanted to close the reception therefore she was focused on this fact. Employees were very clicky, not helpful and not informative. Lots of things to do in hostel e.g. Board games (lots of pieces missing), Pool table (pay for it), table tennis, films on at night although high music playing in next room therefore you can't exactly hear the music. Free breakfast - ok although 2 loaves of mouldy bread sat on the side the whole time!

We were in one of the larger dorms for this hostel and there were a lot of people with only one shower, so that got frustrating. It was clean and had a fun atmosphere. The "breakfast" is basically left over bread, butter, jam, and something pretending to be cereal and milk. The other frustrating thing was that there is a tour operator who either is part of the hostel or runs his business through the hostel but he was constantly asking people to move to accommodate him. It got kind of annoying.

In the inside kitchen almost everything is broken or "staff only". You need to carry everything to the outside kitchen. Quite dirty. There's only one sink, no sponge and 3 tea towels for approximately 50+ guests. Location is really bad, 10 minutes to the next shop and the forget about the "200m beach access": of course it's much longer and the stairs to the beach are a deathtrap. Actually the path is closed - they just put aside the sign that tells access is prohibited. Staff don't care much...

Great place! I stayed in the Sunset Lounge room which seems to be a brand new room with PLENTY of space. AND FREE WIFI!

Not a great hostel, but it's OK. The kitchen is lacking, for sure, but the common area is pretty large and cozy.

NOt very clean, but pretty close to the supermarket and to the beach. Perfect if you want to chill out or going to the beach, but far from clubs or bars. Very nice staff.

Breakfast included, free wifi (not in the room though), friendly staff, very clean place. Only negative remark: you can't buy water in the hostel or very close to it.

Theres not much to do in Agnes Water, but this hostel is right by the beach so it's great to chill. Plus there's free bread and tea and coffee anytime you like.

I was very unimpressed with this hostel. I've never seen so many different types of bugs and spiders in one place (my room). Lots of little mice running around the kitchen too. Unhelpful staff. They advertise a "FREE BREAKFAST (including two real brand cereals, tea & coffee and an array of breads ranging from pancakes to muffins!)" which was actually 1 cereal, tea and coffee - but nothing to boil water with - and an array of stale bread. I was going to stay for 4 nights, and left after one.

Good shuttle bus which is useful when you have heavy bags getting to and from the bus terminal. The kitchen was very dirty - but at the time we were there the staff were trying methods to overcome this - so in future hopefully people will be punished if they leave their dirty dishes in the sink!Staff were helpful but generally stuck together not socialising with guests which might have been nicer. dorms spacious and safe to leave our luggage whilst we went on a tour. would stay again.

15 minutes walk from the center. City is supertiny, there is only few shops so it's okay. 5 min walk to the huge beach, and it's really nice! if you like quiet places and laying on the beach that's perfect spot for you. nice staff and atmosphere.

good hostel to stay a night or 2, had free wifi although it was so slow we couldn't even connect at times. Based 5 minutes from the shops in Agnes and a 20-25 minute cycle from 1770. Kitchen okay, hobs and sinks are in different rooms so can be very awkward. Rooms quite small so a full dorm turned out very small. Air Con on through night which was good. BYO :)

The aircondition did not work and the toilet in our room was broken so it kept leaking water which was quite noisy at night. The beds were horrible! You could feel the springs in the madras - its probably the worst bed I have ever slept in! Further the kitchen was very dirty and you had to wash the cutlery before using it if you wanted something clean. Not a very good hostel.
