Lovely place to stay, excellent homely feel and made us want to stay longer so we did. Breakfasts were a lovely touch as were the sausage sizzle nights. It is great that so many guests become staff but the staff on the whole could be a bit cliquey which could be off putting for guests.

Really nice hostel but is let down by some basic things: 1. The room doors dont lock 2. The bathroom doors dont lock - this is unacceptable, especially in mixed dorms as anyone could potentially walk in when having a shower 3. $5 luggage storage - too expensive 4. The water - they use rainwater and its brown and tastes strage. Not pleasant

Really good hostel but the kitchen was a joke. 4 hobs for the whole hostel with 3 fridges doesn't really work. So for self catering it gets a nooooooooo. But! The rooms are spacious, there is ping pong, table football and a cool bar - which isn't ultra expensive, The bus is great as really you don't need to be in town, and you may as well stay in a better location. Could do with some locks, especially in the shower.

Very nice tranquil location, a great place just to relax and chill out. Room was very nice but there was no lock on the door. Staff at reception not particularly helpful, only gave you the bare minimum of information. Would stay here again though.
