Excellent hostel. Unbelievable value! Great happy hour - huge beers, cheap booze of all sorts, pool table, cards, fusbol table, nice vibe, balcony, good location - right across from a small park and art museum. Great starting out point in Lima!

Great hostel in central Lima! The building is amazing, with huge high ceiling rooms. The staff are great and the common area is great for sitting back and enjoying a beer. The cab fares from here to the airport is only 25 soles, as opposed to 40 from Miraflores, so it makes it cheaper to stay here if you are only in Lima for a short stopover.

decent hostel about 15 to 20 minutes walk from central Lima. shared bathrooms could have been cleaner though. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

1900 was good, but definitely not a great location if you´re looking for a lot to do...for that, Miraflores is probably best. The hostel is 15-20 mins away from everything.The first night, my bed wasn´t made and after a 16 hour travel day that sucked. The 2nd night, a man was in my bed when I got back, which was a serious flaw in security. He wouldnt leave so they moved our room. Very weird and creepy. Otherwise a decent hostel...the staff was attentive and it was very clean.

The staff at 1900 was amazingly helpful...early morning staff, cleaning staff, afternoon staff and evening staff. The location was great for getting from and to buses. Easy walking distance to llong distance Flores, Civa, buses.

Very good hostel located near the old centro of Lima. The antique building is clean, spacious, calm. The staffs are also helpful and friendly.

This was an excellent experience. The hostel is very nice and clean. The attendants were very attentive and gave great recommendations on what to do.

Beautiful building! Huge ceilings and the best option for exploring Plaza de Armes and the rest of the historical centre. Needs more tables for breakfast haha!! But a very enjoyable stay. Even the 10 bed dorms were massive and have a lot of room for movement!

This hostel was one of the best I have stayed. Beautiful building, very clean with good showers beds and ambiance, the attendants were very educated and gave me wonderful tips on what to do in this amazing city. Loved centro de Lima, and 1900 Backpackers was just wonderful, would definitely be back!

I was here some weeks ago and after move to Cusco and they let me store some luggage without charge, the staff is so great, the atmophere is very familiar. Clean, beautiful building and the only hostel in the citycenter, the rest of them are in Miraflores what is just foreigners, mcdonals and burger Kings.. . If I came back to Lima I will be definitely here again

really nice hosts...the location was perfect to know central lima...when i got there, the hostel was full but still with a chill out atmosphere...loved the vibe.....the staff helped me to know what to do in lima...the hostel was clean and the building was amazing, nice hot showers, plus better common areas....cant ask for more...go there...u wont regret it...

This place is really beautiful, staff are fantastic, and has all the right facilities - good kitchen, plentiful bathrooms and excellent chill out areas. One of the best hostels we've stayed at in SA so far!

beautiful 19th century building. rooms look nice but ask for one with a window. breakfast is good but since there aren't that much tables make sure to be there early. location and showers are the bad thing about this place. its in the center of lima, fasr from the beach and also far from Miraflores, the best part of the city for travelers. The showers weren't hot the first morning but they fixed it later so I think it will be ok now.

Everything was just great. Even if it is a backpacker hostel with many young people, I had 2 nights there with my parents in a tripple room and it worked out very good. Central spot, and one of the best hostel-staff I ever meet in my whole life. Thank you for everything. This will be my next stay-point when i get again to Lima!

Helpful staff, good location, good facilities and nice atmosphere. Would go back there again.
