We really enjoyed the stay at 1900. Great location, helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms, fresh fruit juice for breakfast, good showers. However, the communal kitchen needs a revamp.

The thing I liked the most about the hostel is that is an old building but with a modern decoration. It is very pleasant to stay here. The hostel is situated not far away a big comercial center and 30mins walking to the Plaza de Armas that I really recommend. If you want to go to Miraflores, there is a bus stop just right next to the hostel, 2mins walking.
Staff is amazing, very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Also, extra points to the staff as they helped me out with my reservation that got messed up by the system that gave me the wrong checkin date. My only complaint is the wifi, it's no good.
Good things: the building is very cool, it used to be a mansion 100 years ago and it is huge, with very nice common aras (pool, foosball, bar, little balconies to smoke, music, couches, etc), everything is clean, there's big lockers in the rooms and outside for smaller valuables, the atmosphere is good (although a bit loud) Not so good things: the location is not too good, close to the city center but it's not nice around it, it is very loud during the day and also at night out on the street
A very good hostel, staff very friendly. There is a huge construction area in front of the house thus that sleeping wasnt possible. Wifi has become worse! And if you buy tickets with the travel agency double check your bus station. They told us the wrong one what we recognized almost too late!!!
Only issue was that the water pressure in the shower was non-existent. Apart from that, an awesome hostel
Annoyingly loud. The plaza it opens onto is full of people being noisy late into the night. I found it difficult to sleep all of the 3 nights I was there. It's a shame because the hostel was otherwise great.
Love this hostel! The beautiful colonial building lends itself to a clean, relaxed atmosphere. Its not a party hostel however the bar is a great place to hang for a beer and a chat if you feel like it, otherwise the common area always has people relaxing on couches discussing Machu pichu plans :) Great cheap street eats nearby, big mall with cinema 5 mins walk if you need anything. Highly recommend !
Great building in a good area. Secure, good breakfast and clean. There is lockers in the room and lockable charging points through the building which is very handy.
Great location in downtown next to the MALI museum. Good places to eat nearby both cheap and expensive. Decent breakfast and lots of stuff to do and information in the hostel. To many people around for the WiFi to function beyond WhatsApp. Pickup service to the airport also 60 soles even though downtown is considerably closer then Miraflores or Barranco. If you want to go to the airport get a taxi outside for 40 soles.
Nice hostel good location. Great place to meet other travelers. Staff was helpfull, but my luggage was delayed at the airport and the receptionist forgot to tell me it arrived. So it was at the hostel 1 day without me knowing of it.... But overall a good hostel!

Great location. Staff are pretty nice. Their internet is really slow (not only Wi-Fi is slow) The bar area is kind of noisy to me. Room and beds are clean.
A good hostel overall. Location is very good, a few mins away from old town and big supermarket. The kitchen was not always very clean and needs more (clean / new) pans, pots. Room was big, a few hooks and hangers would be handy. Internet was really slow what sucked! You dont make a mistake if you stay there!!!
It`s a good place to stay. It`s right in the center of the city. Building is very old and big. There is breakfast included. There is a bar in the hostel. It`s possible to eat dinner on the bar. It`s good peruvian food and costs same with restaurants around. Hostel is clean. There is a kitchen and two computers for customer use. In my stay here I didn`t experience anything negative. And I`d like to thank the staff for the simple comfort they offered us.

Loved this hostel! Great location, place has a lot of character, clean bathrooms. Very basic especially the bed but nothing in particular to complain about. You can get a transfer to/from the airport to the hostel. Oh and we were able to book an extra night in the same room easily. Would have liked to do the walking tour that the hostel provides but the guides were off sick. Breakfast included rolls, jam, juice, coffee. Travel agent was really helpful.
Really comfortable hostel in lovely old building, close to the city center and with a great bar and atmoshepere, also very close to the bus station if you are coming from there.
This hostel is a beautiful place to stay at while in Lima with really nice rooms and common areas, located very conveniently in the city centre within walking distance of all the touristic sights and the metropolitana station. Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good for being included in the price. It was great to just spend some time at the bar in the afternoon or evening, atmosphere is really nice and welcoming! Stayed a lot longer than planned and would definitely come back.
Def a good hostel if you want to walk to the plaza of armas area. Also the staff was friendly:)
Very nice staff. Great facilities including the billiards and foosball tables. The common area was really spacious and a great place to meet other travelers. They even had a lockable charging station for phones and cameras etc. Overall i really enjoyed my stay! Breakfast had some really nice fruit juices as well!
Beds and rooms were pretty good. People say the location isn't so safe but I thought it seemed fine in the day and evening. Close to the museum and about 15 min walk to the historic center. Food from the bar was good and so were the drinks.
