Arrived late to hostel and found out no water for shower. There is no water supply at night in these area, so you won't get any water if hostel are fully book at night. All shower rooms were so dirty and smell bad, i think it has not been cleaned for a long period. The kitchen so small, without all proper facilities. No convenient to charge appliances in the room. There is no atmosphere in hostel, it just for sleep and go. The staffs no so friendly, they would not like to talk after briefing

Very nice place to stay, friendly staff, a beautiful building. Everytime I went back to Lima I stayed here and the first time I came back was after 6 weeks and the staff member behind the counter recognised me ... that makes you feel very welcome

This is a very nice place to stay at while in Lima! The staff is very friendly and helpfull and we had a great time in Perú after the owner planned our trip for us. Location is good, breackfast nice, but the kitchen is very tiny.

It's fine. I don't have anything bad to say but it's just a regular big city hostel. Very noisy, so so showers, no towels or locks to borrow. Nice people and in a good spot but not a really great deal for your money in Peru.

Great location. Minutes from Plaza de Armes, short bus to Mariflores and lots of parks close buy. Big old mansion converted. Lots of Character. Pretty busy spot but shuts down at a decent hour. Good showers and Internet.

first of all, the staff is nice and this old building has charme. but the location is not the best, even taxidrivers warned us not to go out at night in this area. the house is unfortunately not "renovated". there are no oportunities to charge your stuff in the rooms. the bathrooms are really dirty, no matter what time of the day. we changed place after two nights.

Not a single complaint! Beautiful building, really friendly staff, clever lockers for charging appliances, hot water and wifi were good too. Only stayed on night but felt totally comfortable the whole time.

The in house travel agency was convenient for booking bus tickets.

I loved the historic feel, and the ability to hang out on the roof. It would have been great to know more about the history of the building and the family that lived there. Decorations seemed a little too western. While I liked the quotes and posters of Twain, Einstein, and Lennon, It would have been more fitting to see at least something from Peru or even Latin America adorning the walls.

It's a really neat place to stay, the decor is really cool. The only thing is that it's in Lima, not Mirasflores, so don't confuse it (like I did :p)

Great place to stay for a short amount of time. Street noises are heard very loudly during the night and mornings. Staff were very helpful.

Hostel is in a grand old building. It's a well-run place with friendly staff. There were enough bathrooms and hot showers. I was happy with my stay there.

Really really nice hostel !! Great location, nice staff (went surfing with us). They also had some other great activities like free salsa lessons and more. Stay here and not in miraflores when in Lima.

Nice hostel, good vibes. Wifi was very good. Basic kitchen ( they need to buy some bowls and forks but other an that it was great). Front desk always seemed a little disorganized ( my dorm room was woken up at who knows what time by the person who was working the front desk just to find out it was full). Convenient location, close to the water circuit, downtown lima and supermarket/shopping center. Beds were nice but eooms were hot and noisy from street and bar noise.

traveling in South America for 8 weeks I'd say the overall rating is a little too high - yet well located and inexpensive place, which has been renovated (apart from the windows which makes the rooms quite noisy). Our room was very simple, the showers are clean and warm and the staff very friendly. Compared to other hostels the breakfast was lower standard. Unfortunately some valuables got "missing" there.
