Great location between miraflores and the historic center, beautiful old building, clean bathrooms and the comfiest dorm beds!!
This is a good option if you wish to explore central Lima (recommended) as it`s walking distance to the main attractions. Unfortunately it`s noisy due to passing traffic and the beeping is especially annoying in the morning. The staff are friendly and a breakfast of bed and jam with tea or coffee is served. The toilets are clean and there`s hot water for showers. Dorms are comfortable and there are lockers too. The bar is a nice place to hang out in the evenings and meet people.
All in all a pretty good hostel. Hot water and Internet were a bit hit and miss but the staff were great and had a friendly vibe
Okay hostel, dont expect to much!! You cant sleep because of all the noise from their partys and the street..
We could not stop smiling when we got up the stairs and realised what a gem we were staying in! Staff were friendly. The building was fabulous - in fact we were blown away with it. We liked the evening offers - the pisco sours were great!
Nice hostel, comfy and good lockers. Nice bar area and they seemed to be arranging a lot of events etc.
What a great building! Lovely mosaic floors and wood panelled walls. Stayed in a double room which was basic with a fan. The bar was really nice with well priced drinks and friendly staff. A basic breakfast of bread rolls and jam, coffee and juice was included. The reception staff were really helpful and assisted us getting a taxi to the airport for a fair price as we don't speak Spanish. There was a BBQ social whilst we were there's no other events were organised too.

awesome hostel. great location. not too far to walk from the main square. really great staff. cool bar area and balconies over looking the business of the main road. really comfy beds and good sheets etc. i have nothing to complain about. would have loved to stay longer.
Only downfall is the noise of Limas traffic at night, they beep their horns all day all night, I presume same problem would exist at all other city hostels.
Staff was very helpful. If you want to stay in the city centre, I'd recommend this hostel. It's on a main street so it can be very noise due to traffic. Bring earplugs for sleeping.
Nice enough rooms and the travel agency is useful to book buses but otherwise nothing special. We got woken up a few times by people coming in and talking loudly late at night. Breakfast was pretty poor. Would be nice to have something other than just bread and jam. One of the computers didn't work well and we often had to wait a long time for the other. The kitchen was cramped and could do with an oven! Two gas hobs for that many people is not really enough.
The place is perfect but the only thing that I didn't like is that the hot water was switched off :( in early morning. It seems that they switch it off at nights which is ok but they knew I was leaving early.

Awesome location. Safe and fun. Loved the hostel and the staff. I LOVE HUMBERTO VERY GOOD DANCER!
A basic but cheap and cheerful hostel.
Cesar, one of the hostel owners, is pretty cool. He took us out to some of the best spots in the city and made sure everyone had a good time. The hostel itself is a giant mansion with really high ceilings. Set up to meet people easily. Everything is close by. Only downside is that toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilets.
I have not stayed in other hostels in lima but this one was very nice and I would definitely recommend it.
