Awesome place, even though it´s not peek season, the place was full and the party was already there. Excellent location. Surf is up! Really good surfing just 3 blocks from the hostel. No geral o Holtel 1949 é muito bom, isso sem falar na localização que é excelente. O staff é muito receptivo e pronto a te ajudar. The hostel is really well located and the communal areas are also very nice. However we were overall disappointed with the hostel. When we arrived the room was freezing cold as someone had left the windows open all day. We tried to plug in the heater but sparks came out of the plug socket. The sheets on the bed were really dirty. We only spoke to the staff to check in and out and when we left we wanted to grab breakfast but nothing was prepared, despite it supposedly being from 8 am.The hostel is really well located and the communal areas are also very nice. Location is superb, in Punta Downtown. The night shift guys are lazy and don't like help you, but the day shift guys are great, they help you with all you need. The breakfast is OK. The room was reasonably clean, but the bathroom was very old and dirty. The showers are very bad, the water its too hot or too cold and its difficult to take a shower there.
