Is horrible, small, grotty. I don't recommend this hostel. It's the worst I've ever seen.

Nice place to stay in Budapest - close to everything, and 2 metro-stations. Saff is awesome, and will help you with just about everything. Great value. Cheers, Knut, Tore, Jokke and Fredrik - Norway.

We were disappointed by 1st hotel. It's impossible to pay by credit card. There is only 1 bathroom and 1 toilet for 18 people!!. No internet access. No air conditionning. We stayed 3 nights and the bathroom was never cleaned. The staff doesn't speak english, is not there all the time and is not very nice. It's not like usual hostels it's more like you rent a room in a very old building. The business doesn't seem to be official. The only positive point is the location!

Honestly, this was one of the worst experiences of my life. It actually took away from Budapest. I could not enjoy Budapest to the extent I should have because of this Hostel and the management. First off the room was terrible. There is a toilet seat that isnt connected to the toilet, there is a shower with no shower curtain (try taking a shower and not getting the floor drenched), there is a computer with no mouse and no internet access, and there is a television that gets zero channels. Well this is certainly a hostel I will NOT be recommending to anyone. The beds were taped together, as was the toilet seat and the door. The water was never warm, with the boiler apparentlz only on in the evenings - it wasn\'t. One bed consisted of a matress on the floor. Being 19 year old students, we just laughed this off! The location was really good, as was the staff and security - hence the rating.

I had the double ensuite the roof was flaking, the toilet was held to the wall with tape, and had no internet, and I wasn\'t supposed to leave anything of value in the room with no lock box. The email I received recommended leaving at train station. Maybe the dorm style was better but this was the worst hostel I stayed at!! If you must stay here do not take the double bed in suite.
