We had to wait half an hour in front of the house that someone would come and open the door for us. We spent the night here, but on the day after, since the previous caretaker had "forgotten" to leave the keys, we lost half a day of our journey waiting in this room for someone to give us the keys, so that we could leave and enjoy the town we had come to visit. We had to call several times and wait twelve hours to get the keys, even though we had already paid the day before.

I was disappointing with this hostel, we were taken in a car from 1 property by a woman, it was 20 minutes from the rail, and we really had no idea where we were? although they advertise 3 minutes walk to the train! The bathroom door handle fell off as she was checking us in, and although I also reported it to another staff member it was not repaired for the 2 weeks of our stay. The rangehood and dryer also did not work. The studio was clean, but the common carpet stair/hallway was filthy!!

The standard of the hostel is rather low. The rooms weren't very clean, and several things were broken. The common bathroom was awfully messy. The management seemed disorganized while accommodating guests. We haven’t seen anyone self check-in - the manager always showed up eventually, even at night - but arriving past 5p.m. means a long wait. The location was really good, 5min walk from Kilburn station. Big thumbs up to the cleaning lady, who was always incredibly sweet and helpful to us.

There is no reseption at the hostel, and it took a while for the staff to get there and show us our room. There was no tour of the rest of the hostel ( she didn't show us the kitchen and we never figured out if there was a common eating- or hangoutarea). In a studio apartement we expected a few more private facilities than in a normal hostel room. We did have a little sink, but no toilet or small kitchen counter. The kitchen also had very few utilities, and no towels or paper to dry the dishes.
