Really wasn't very clean at all and looked like they housed the homeless downstairs.hard to comunicate as owners spoke little English. nicest hostel i hv been to... the only problem was it was not 24 hr reception as described...arrived at 4a...and waited 3 hrs before someone came.... had driven from seattle to alaska....was very tired...needed to be able to find manager.....did not answer phone and was not on site...other than that was a great hostel.... told manager the website should not indicate 24hr access.... nicest hostel i hv been to... the only problem was it was not 24 hr reception as described...arrived at 4a...and waited 3 hrs before someone came.... had driven from seattle to alaska....was very tired...needed to be able to find manager.....did not answer phone and was not on site...other than that was a great hostel.... told manager the website should not indicate 24hr access.... ...Close

First night we stayed there, I had a mattress I could feel the springs through. The second night the mattress was just fine. Lack of hot water pressure for my shower was disappointing, but at least there was some hot water to be had. And it was very nice of the staff to let us store bags in an outside shed for a week while we hiked for no extra charge.First night we stayed there, I had a mattress I could feel the springs through.
